Just thought I would post an update. I opened up the filter on bottom of the machine and found nothing trapped. There was a little film of dirt, so I cleaned it, and replaced it. Next I inspected the boot, and found no tears at all. I did notice a fair amount of black fuzz so I just cleaned that up. I plugged the machine back in, and almost immediately the "door locked" light went out. (which previously just stayed lit). So I ran a small load of clothes and everything ran like normal.

While that was running I went to fold my previous load of clothes, the load that exhibited the problem, and noticed that one of my tshirts was completely torn to shreds...which was what caused the black fuzz I guess.

So I dont know what happened; if this shirt got stuck in the boot and let water leak, and confused the sensors...but something weird happened that load. Who knows, I have done a few more loads and everything is back to normal.
