i have a washer that just stops everytime when it should pump out water. There is no sound from the timer when it stops, and this will happend in every one of the programs I have on the washer. I can force it to start, on the next step in the program, but it will not pump out the wather, and after a while it will stop.

Most likely the problem is a bad lid switch.

- New lid switch and step by step instructions on how to replace the lid switch: Part number: AP3100003

Thanks for the tips.
I have waited a long time, but it is not starting up again.
Gene; I wonder if you have an idea if I can check the lid swich. I live in easter Hodnuras and it is a long way to and service, I probably have to order the parts from USA and ship them down. So I would like to be shure what's the cause of the problem.

Hi Lappe,

Open the control panel, disconnect the lid switch plug and bypass the lid switch.

There are three wires and one of them has a green color. This is the ground wire. To bypass the lid switch you have to use two other wires (I do not remember their colors).
