When cold water quit running into our machine and it would not complete a full spin cycle, I thought part of the problem was the hoses. When I showed them to the dealer, he said the hoses were not defective. He advised me to install the part that attaches to the hoses. I do not know what it's called, but it has two blue threaded connectors that protrude from the back of the washer. I have tried for hours to open the machine. Two dealers told me to lift the control panel off and two others said to take the entire backside off. I'd appreciate any advice with instructions--there are plastic pieces protryding from the back of the washer that could be helpful. I would also like to know if you think installing the part will correct the cold water and spin cycle problems.
Thank you,
Mary Anne

Replace the water solenoid with a WH13X81, universal type. Go to www.applianceaid.com for take apart info.

Thanks for the information. You were right about the part. I have it and the control panel off. I have to look up what set of wires to pull before he back comes off, but I think I am almost there. That's a great washing
machine, but I have never had so much trouble getting the back off a machine. Without your advice, I would have kicked it and called a repairman.
