Bought this dishwasher 10-07. Hasn't worked right since installation. about 2/3 of the time it just does not fill with water.Had new sink and faucet installed to so had plumber come back to check all connections. Plumbing is right. Is there a reset? I have read other sites about some dishwashers if opened before end of cycle, that is where they will start next time dishwasher is started. I know kids have opened before end of drying cycle. I have even opened it to add another dish when it is running without hitting the stop/cancel.

Hi Linda,
Your dishwasher is just about four months old and it has one year full warranty with Maytag.
It suppose to be no charge to you and the first thing I would do is call Maytag for service.
Gene.

Gene. Gene, Thanks for your quick reply Will call service to get a Tech out here. I have hesitated to make sure it is not something I am doing wrong. When I call for Service I am going to complain about the operations manual too. On different sites today I learned of the Heat button, the Lock/Unlock option and the Auto Clean which is not addressed in the manual. One of the sites says if you open the door during any of the cyles without pushing the cancel button (like to add a forgotten dish) it disrupts the cycles. I was concerned that was what is happening. Even though I make an effort to leave it alone once I start it, others in the house invariably open the door during the drying time. Know I am just old and a dummy with new appliances. But you are right, get a Tech out to see what is actually happening.
