Recently, i purchased a used kenmore side by side refrigerator from a family member. they told me the water in the door works great but the ice maker dosent work at all, So i never hooked it up till today...lol what a great idea that was....any ways.... I hooked the water into the the dual water valve in the back....and they were right ...the water works great...but the ice maker does not... i took the water valve off the back, and switched the wires for the fridge and freezer water selenoids. when you press the water button in the door...it runs water into the freezer ice tray, so it is not frozen. I am fairly mechanically inclined but lack serious guidence. i have spent prob 2 hrs online trying to find some sort of trouble shoot....can anyone please help me...
