The original door handle snapped off. I purchased one from APP and, after much searching and reading, figured out how to remove the remnants of the old handle and attach the new handle. I did not take the door off but rather separated the choke enough to get at the handle screws.

I had started to remove the door but was unable to get the top pin to release. I must have moved the pin a bit because after I replaced the handle, shut the door and plugged the microwave in, the light and fan came on but the programming was missing, there was no heat and the turntable did not turn. I figured out the right side of the door (when facing the closed door) hung a little lower than the left side. I could push it up and even it out and the microwave worked fine (I'm sure something to do with the switches).

I managed to push the left bottom corner up and made it stay so the door aligned but it is not a permanent fix in that, when I open and close the door, I have to remember to push the right side of the door back up or the light and fan come on and nothing works.

Is there a more permanent fix than what I have done? Maybe another way to ask is, how do I tighten up the door so it stays in alignment?
