After trying to wash a heavy comforter, the machine filled up and did nothing--won't agitate, drain or spin.

When you turn the dial to spin, empty, etc. it buzzes/ticks low to real loud to get to next cycle but doesn't move.

Any ideas about what's wrong? How to fix?

Lift the washer from the front, remove the drive belt and check how the pump is moving by a hand.

Check how the motor moves without the belt.

Post your findings.

Gene.
