My dishwasher is not cleaning the dishes. The soap does drop from the dispenser in the door. Water is coming into the dishwasher and draining. However, it seems that no water is spraying from the spray arms.

What are all of the possibilities, and how and where do we check everything we need to check? We seem to be reading about foreign object(s) being lodged somewhere. Where exactly do we check for this (aside from in the filter) and are there any other possibilities whatsoever?

Thanks

Most likely the problem caused by the circulating (wash) pump which got stuck. In most cases it could be fixed (if the motor is still good) by replacing the impeller kit.

Remove the bottom panel and listen to the main motor during the wash cycle.

If it makes a noise - most likely the motor is good.

If it's completely dead then the whole pump & motor assembly has to be replaced.

In order to repair or replace the pump - the dishwasher has to be removed from the cabinet.

- The part number for the impeller kit is AP2802376

- The part number for the pump & motor assembly is AP2826384

Here are the break down diagrams for the Bosch dishwasher Model SHU66C05 UC/14 (FD 8211-)

Thanks! With the sides off the dishwasher, we started a cycle. My husband said there was no movement from the motor. He has decided that it's the motor. I hope that will fix it.

Before replacing the motor check if 120V is coming. If not it could be the control module.
