My machine wont agitate or spin. It was making a loud nooise like a grinder . I opened the machine and found out that the sound was coming from motor and clutch .When i removed the belt the clutch dropped and i see lot worn out.

Is there a part that connects motor pump and the clutch.

Thanks in advance

You probably just need the clutch retainer clip AP2044903, possibly the clutch AP2045377.

Hi rich thank you for your response. I have a new retainer clip , but my question is does the cluctch rotate freely or it has some locking to the motor. I see a hole in the motor pipe and there i am suspecting that something must be there which will be locked to the clutch . I saw some broken metal in that hole and small metal pieces when i opened the clutch .

Regards

Just put the clutch back in and slip the retaining clip on, should work ok, clutch will engage when motor gets up to speed.
