Most likely there is something wrong with the circuit breakers.
Gene.

I am also having the same problem with my roper dryer. I have replaced or tested the thermal fuse, heater coil and thermostat, and the internal bias thermostat. All the wiring appears to have no breaks or burnt spaces. The vent is clear as I have the back off and the air vent has good force to it. What's my next step? I don't have the to call a tech out, much less buy a new dryer. I am so frustated.

Gene, It is a REX5634KQ0. I purchased a cheap multimeter today and have just test #6 thermal cut-off (hi-Limit Thermostat) and the meter did not move. Before I tested it I check #24 thermostat, internal bias and it went over to 0. I had purchased one #24 and check the old one and the new one. Sounds like it is #6. I have a local appliance store that has had the parts I've needed. Another trip tomorrow. One thing I don't understand is how do you tell the difference in positve and negative on the parts? I don't see any + or - signs.

Hi everyone. Thanks for all your help with my dryer. We found that the breaker for the dryer was bad. We replaced the breaker and I had proper voltage at the terminal block, and it works again. Again, thank you for all the time you took responding to my posts. -jim

Gene, Thanks for the info. This is a whole new subject of learning for me. I purchased and replaced the thermal cut-off (hi-Limit Thermostat) and my dryer is heating again. Thank you for your help.

Very often most complicated problems end up being simpler than they seemed. Thank you for the feedback and good luck with your dryer. Gene.
