I am not honestly sure as to the age, as I am renting the house. But I have a maytag mdb4000awb that just decided not to drain. It won't attempt anything when I move the dial, and I can't see any clog in the release at the sink. Can the dishwasher be manually drained? I'm afraid I can't afford a new one, as the Marine Corps doesn't pay well. I'm currently in Ridgecrest, near China Lake Naval Base, so the facilities are somewhat limited. Any idea what I should do next? Thank you for any advice, Bill

Checked the release next to the faucet on the sink. When I pulled it under the sink and tipped it, water came out. Foggy grey water. Bill
