My washer still pumps water, but makes a clicking noise and does not agitate or spin. I am assuming that this is a transmission problem. Is there a belt or something that I can replace?

I am going to say your washer is not dead, and with a little patience, time and an inexpensive part you can fix it.

The likely problem is a failed motor coupling.

This video will show you how to replace it.

and here is the part. Just inspect it per the video. Note, do not take off the pump, just tie it off to the side or be prepared for a lot of water to come out.

Thanks,
I did some checking and realized that the fact that the pump was working did not rule out a bad coupling. It was in fact the coupling and I put a new one in (my 4th one on this machine). The good news is that now the plastic pieces of those couplings have a metal insert, so hopefully it will last a bit longer than the others.

Glad you got it fixed. Four couplings is rather a lot, but with the metal inserts hopefully this one will last a bit longer.

Thanks for the update.
