After repalcing the spin belt and water pump in my washer, the spin cycle stopped working properly. Before the repair, the washer wouldn't agitate, but the spin cycle wroked. Now the washer agitates, and the spin cycle is haywire. With the barrel empty, it spins fine. Now add water and thewasher will start the spin cycle, but stops after about 15 seconds and won't drain. There is also a hint of a burning smell.

The washer is an Amana LWA50WA and has worked fantastic up until this. What did i miss?

Looks like the motor got overloaded on spin cycle.

Check for the pump and the belt proper installation and proper belt tension.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Amana washer Model LWA50AW
