Hi, I'm trying to replace my refrigerator's thermostat. My refrigerator is a top and bottom Admiral.
Can you please advise if the male connector on my thermostat (Item 1 in picture 2) should connect to B or C (picture 1)? Likewise, should the female connector on my thermostat (Item 2 in picture2) be connected to A or D (picture 1)?

Thank you very much

Cannot find any info on this unit, so the below is a guess. I am assuming that D and A go to the defrost heater.
Looks like CD are too short to fit together so I would say that it should between them.
Be sure to tape the one side that will not have an insulating sheath up tightly. Might also be a good idea to give it a coating of silicone sealant once you confirm the unit is operating correctly. I would also twist tie it or use a zip tie to hold it up where it is less likely to get ice or water.
In any case the defrost thermostat will do it's job as long as it is wired in series with the heater. |

Hi Denman, You mean A and B should be connected together. The thermostat should go between C and D. Correct? Thank you

Connect A-B
Connect Defrost T-stat between C-D and then Clip it into the coil that is on the right.
