So far your web site has helped me with my attempts to fix our Maytag MLE2000AYW stackable washer dryer but I have a few questions. The drum does go around and I pulled the heating assembly and it showed good or (0) for the fuse, low thermastat, High thermastat, and 11 resistance for the heating coil. I put it back together and it worked (So I thought). The wife used it this morning and it did not heat. I put the timer on the setting I tested it yesterday and it still worked (the more/Less dry area of the timer) but at the normal time digit area and perm press it does not heat. Could it be the timer? or should I be looking for somethinng else?

I checked the braker, checked the electric posts where the plug wires in and I checked for obstructions in the venting as well. All good.

Any help to narrow the search would be of a great help so that I do not order the wrong parts. You have saved me from ordering a heating assembly so far.

The heat works when you place it on the intellidry area but the next area called time dry\air fluff it will not heat anymore. It will also not heat on the easy care\perm press section. The Temp settings are to the right of the timer and I have tried regular, medium, delicate, ect and it works in the more dry/less dry area but not in any other mode on the timer.

I tested the timer for an open circuit in all settings and found that the timer was bad in the timed dry setting. I replaced the timmer today and all works well. Thanks for the repair manual and information. I could not have done it alone.
