Oven has an electronic digital oven temp set. Recently noticed that food was not cooking properly so put a manual thermometer in oven. Actual oven temp averages 150-200 degrees less than digital indicator. Element glows red until oven "thinks" it has reached temperature. Oven will hold temperature but never reaches set temp.
FYI- High and low broiler element works fine.
Any suggestions?

Any suggestions? Ohm out your oven sensor, it should read approx. 1100 ohms at room temperature. The sensor is the probe protruding out the back wall of the oven. If it checks good, then I'm going to say the clock is the problem. If memory serves me right you could calibrate these clocks, but it was only good for about 35 degrees +/-, no where near the amount you're talking. I've included a pic of the oven sensor, but there were a couple of different clocks used on this model, depending whether there were any other numbers on the ID plate. Part number: AP4009009
