the manual states that the fan used to keep a even temp' i guess it's the evaporator fan makes a slightly wining noise. so this is normal. is there any way i can soundproof this. any websites with free service procedures and illustrations of this model ?

Your fan blade may be touching the freezer panel, just remove panel and check.

what panel ' the back panel or apanel inside the unit?

Remove the back panel in the freezer.
