Water on floor every other day in front of freezer side of side by side frigerator, also frozen water on bottom floor of the freezer. I looked at the drain hose to the pan for blockage but the line appears to continue on to somewhere else and does not dump into the pan? Filter has never been changed could this be the problem? Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the help. Sounds like your defrost water isn't draining properly and it's running out the freezer door onto your floor. You'll need to empty the contents in your freezer and remove the rear freezer wall. At the bottom of the evaporator coil you'll see the drain trough, and it's probably frozen over. Spending time with a blow dryer will be necessary thawing it out to the point where you can see the drain hole. After that you'll have to try and blow it clear/force some hot water down it with a baster, etc.
