Can anyone tell me how to go about dropping down my disposal to check for a jam. The reset button is not turning it. I have disconnected electric , watersupply and drain, but cannot figure how it drops down. Thank you

my food disposal, does not work, i can hear slight noise but nothing happens
i cannot find a reset button, it is only 2 yeas old
