gene and okbobcats thanks for your help ! gene i found a 1and a half inch paint brush , a wash cloth , sissors , a screw driver and 3 hand fulls of lint in the bottom of the lint trap by the blower . well now she dryed one load and now she has no power up stairs by the on button or at the timer . can you guys find it in your hearts to help me out again ? THANK YOU in advance for your time , and your advice

i've also checked i have power in on the cord , down to the one side of the thermal fuse but nothing going up to the timer or the push on button

if the thermal fuse is ok and the dryer will not start check the door switch and the door switch actuater.

thanks that worked for one load ! then she died again with about 10 minutes left on the timer . what should i check now , other than current sale prices . this is like becoming a quest , fix this dryer or die trying . can you help ,or do i fold em and give in to the wifee ?

According to the manufacturer instructions if the thermal fuse blown, it has to be replaced together with the cycling thermostat. - The part number for the thermal fuse is AP3132867 - The part number for the cycling thermostat is AP3115922 Good luck. Gene.
