What are the subtleties between the User Interface Assembly (AP3129636) and the Control Board (AP3767528)? How can I determine which one I need?

Thanks for your help!

It depends on what the problem is. The control board is the logic for the washer where as the UI assembly provides button input and display output. If a button or lamp is not working, the UI needs replacing.
