Help... the local Sears repairman is so backed up, my husband wants to tackle this himself. But we can't even match our model number to anything? It was bought in Canada. The problem: machine started to get loud during the spin cycle. Then I noticed a load of laundry had spots on it from sitting in the tub. Then the spinning action stopped all together. The belt had come off, and we thought that was the problem... but we took the back panel off and the belt was laying there, but there was muddy oil splattered all over everything (source of the spotted laundry), and the bearing are screwed, even to my untrained eye! After going on other forums, people are saying not to even try replacing just the bearings... to get the entire tub essembly! We don't even know the part number... help!

Unfortunately Canadian model numbers do not come up on American web sites and the Sears keeps them as a top secret information.
