Our washer is 2 1/2 years old. Just before the 2 yr. warranty was up, the lid switch became so loose, when I shut the lid, I had to press down on the back corner so it would make contact. A tech came and tightened it, so it worked fine. Now it's loose again, and I really don't want to pay $75 for another tech to spend 30 seconds tightening it again.

Can someone tell us how and what to tighten? Do we need to remove the top? He didn't take the top off. He just reached underneath the lip of the top, and tighened something. But it was out of sight. He did it by feel. But I'm not sure we could manage that.

Any help is great appreciated.

You will first need to take the console loose and filp
it upward, see pics below. The last picture is a breakdown
of your machine. The lid switch is number 11,. Make sure all
screws #8 and 22 are tight.

Thank you so much for the information. We'll tackle it this weekend.
