and saw rust, flux not removed before potting the board and decided to replace it.
Backing up here a load of 4 thick bathroom rugs was washed unfortunately and machine stopped mid cycle with PF code. When removing wet rugs, my god! must have weighed 50 pounds each. We were able to do 2 realistic size loads after that with same mid cycle PF code. After 2nd load machine completely shut down. No power.I replaced main poard after inspecting all wiring and only saw the rust on main board.
After installing main board trying out machine now throws out TE error code!Ohm and continuity checked bottom heating elemennt and thermister and appeared to test ok.Ordered and installed new heating element/ thermister package(BTW, I see a 2nd heating element up top inside a small white plastic box just below top cover of machine....Could this element be causing error code? I think its for steam?
Anyways, now checking wiring, ground connections and every plug on main board for bad connection presently. If this does not right machine ???>? your help appreciated!
