I had this problem about a month ago and switched out the shift actuator. That seemed to work. It's doing the same thing again. Is it possible that the shift actuator is bad again? It was also very Loud while spinning.

You have a failed transmission if it is loud in spin. If you are pretty handy it isn't a hard job, but will take you a few hours. You may have also had the failed actuator by coincidence. Bad trans on these are common. For the cost of the part it may not be worth it. Thanks, I thought it might be the transmission but was hoping for another easy fix.
