Greetings friends,

I have a frigidaire gallery top load washer that started having a problem with the transmission shaft. We got a guy to rebuild the shaft to remove the play since oil from the transmission was also staining the clothes due to the massive play it had.

However, the washer worked about a week and started with a problem where it does not centrifugate. It agitates fine but when the centrifugate cycle comes in the washer tries to keep agitating.

In fewer words, in the centrifugate cycle we can see the agitator still agitating real fast, instead of locking up and running the entire tub for drying.

We checked the motor is spinning clock wise for centrifugate and counter-clock wise for agitating if i remember right, so we're suspecting this is another problem with the transmission but we do not know what. (the bearing is fine, locks one way and its free and smooth to the other) but the lower shaft where the pulley goes does not lock when you spin it with your hand clockwise.

Thanks in advance for your help.
