My washer would agitate, drain, and spin occasionally. If I heard it wasn't spinning I would lift the lid and close it. That typically fixed the problem. I read online it was most likely the timer. I purchased the timer through Appliance Parts Pros and replaced it. It doesn't happen as often, but occasionally will still not get to the spin cycle without lifting and closing the lid. If functioning properly, does a washer immediately begin to spin slowly as it drains? I appreciate your help.
