Ive seen similar problems to mine but not quite the same here goes

Washer gets through wash n spin then stops at rinse cycle get a humming sound but no water. YET get water when i restart cycle Problem occurs mainly in hot weather normal water temp close to 80F in summer from mainline

Ive replaced timer, blown out vacuum fill, switched fill selinoids(reversed hot n cold).
Suspect temp thermostat wants lower temp for rinse, should be cold water only. Can i bypass the temp controls? We only use cold water anyways
