My washer is giving the f6 e1 error. I tried to run the diagnostics test and it stops once the door locks. We have tested the door lock with a multimeter and it tests fine. We haven't tested further due to time constraints. I am just confused why the diagnostic test doesn't go further than the very first test. Can anyone help?

I had an extra Duet to troubleshoot with but it still took me 2 days to find the problem.

Symptom: Press Start button, door locks and nothing happens. Wait long enough and F6E1 error. Run push button 1, 2, 3 3 times and hold 3rd button in to clear error. Try swapping all parts and same exact error.

Finally, removed motor Control unit 3 blue wire connector. There's very tiny holes on each side that I see people on youtube stick a pin to bend the metal contacts points in so they are tighter on the circuit board. I look at one side and could see all metal and it looked normal. However, i turned the connector to see the other side and one metal contact was gone. OH! the light came on. The MCU is double sided so the contact is needed for each side to apply voltage from the CCU. So mine was merely getting voltage to one side of the MCU.

I replaced the molex connector with one from a spare wiring harness. Unplugged main power, plugged in to wall outlet, cleared the code F6E1, unplugged and plugged into wall outlet and it works normal. It was the tiny molex connector that had 3 blue wires going to the MCU.

If I didn't have a spare molex connector i would have somehow needed to jump the metal jumper to the side missing the metal contact.
