Tub bangs against side while agitating/spinning

This has happened to my machine on several occasions. Each time, I have had a 'mobile' repair man come and fix it. He told me that it is 'pin' that holds the tub upright and stable, which has broken. He said it's a $7.00+ part, but the service call ends up costing me 85.00, plus the part/labor.
He's in and out of here in less than 15 minutes. Otherwise, the machine still runs great. I can actually still hold the sides of the tub stable and the tub will agitate and spin without banging the sides of the machine (but it's tough on my hands). Do you have any idea what this 'pin' is called? A friend who repairs small appliances, etc. said if I supplied him with the part, he would fix it for free. Thanks!

The only pin I find for your model is this one, Part number: AP2905284
which is used in the self leveling mechanism at the rear. See if it is what you need. And try to determine why you keep needing one. The repair tech should have made a permanent fix.
