If you bought from this site you can call them for clarification. If you did not, then you will have to deal with whomever you did buy from. I DID purchase the control board from APP (this site). I also called and was told they don't know so try contacting Whirlpool. Seems APP should know about this by now. I can't believe I'm the first to have this situation. Bill

Well that is interesting. People like myself who respond on this site are volunteers and are independent of APP so we cannot speak for them. But this seems odd since you got the part from APP and the notice was inside of it. I can only think that maybe APP did not know the notice was in there. Maybe it is something new and something that can be resolved with the parts distributor.
Let us know if you get any resolution and don't hesitate to go back to APP if you want to.
