ok, thank you . I also noticed dryer doesn't run continously when i turn start dial. I have to hold it in the start postion for dryer to kepp running. Is that another problem or will that remedy when i replace ignitor? thx

This is a new problem? No, it's not related to a bad igniter but sounds like a bad motor switch which could also cause your no heat problem. Now I'm not sure on your feedback to my troubleshooting help so you may want to call a tech rather than waste money on parts you don't need. Trying to walk laypersons through electrical troubleshooting is usually an exercise in frustration.

since the drum was removed the belt break switch prevented the dryer from running continuously . I ordered the ignitor . Thank you for all your help and patience.
