I have a gas dryer that is not igniting the gas when you turn it on. I figured the coils were bad so I ordered a complete new valve since the unit is 25 yrs old. When I took the burner assembly out the the round ignitor crumbled. I purchased a new igniter and installed them both. I still have no ignition when I turn the dryer on. I figured replacing both of these would solve my problem but now I am perplexed. I cant find a wiring diagram or anything to tell me what the voltage should be going to the coils. It seems like I am not getting any voltage to the coils. Any help would be appreciated. Or is it time to go buy a new one?
