I was reading through your thread because I'm having the same problem and was curious how you were able to solve your problem. My oven is 10yrs old and I my latch was broken. Turns out it had become unseated so I was able to fix it but in the process i created another problem and got the F2E1 error. I noticed there was a crease or crack in the ribbon cable so I'm wondering if it happened when i pulled back the display. My guess from reading the thread is that I'm going to need to purchase the whole touchpad. Was that your solution?

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner but I have been at the cottage for a week.
You should just have to replace the control panel (keypad). |
