Hi,
I tried your solution but unfortunately it did not work for me. I unplug the 2 ribbon wires, unplug all other wires (blue, red, brown, black, yellow, orange), replug, tried to reset the broil temperature to 450 but again everything froze there and I got the infamous F13 message.
Any ideas ?

I registered just so I could thank you! It will probably take me longer overall to thank you than it did to fix my stove. It works on a frigidaire model #ples389acc. A million thank yous, as you have saved me some money I will definitely need for Christmas.

This reply is 11 years later, but pulling the small connectors from the control board and plugging them back (a couple of times) also fixed the F13 broiler ssue. I couldn't remove the larger ones (didn't want to break anything), but one of the small ones fixed the problem. Thanks 11 years later!
