I have a Jenn Air side by side that is not cooling. I recently put in a new defrost heater and thermostat assembly which did not do anything. What do I do now?

Set the temperature controls to mid-range settings. Give it a few hours to allow the temperatures to stabilize. Tell us what the temperatures are in the freezer and the fresh food section. Are the compressor, evaporator, and condenser fans operating? Is the condenser clean? Is the compressor dome hot? too hot to touch? cool?

Would not hurt to let us know why you replaced the defrost heater and thermostat in the first place.

Did you have a defrost problem?
How did you determine that the above parts needed replacing?

The compressor does not seem to be turning on. It clicks about every 30 seconds or so.

You'll need to check the compressor, start relay and overload protector
