Sorry about that,

Yes, if that fuse is open, you have no voltage to the motor and it wont start or run.

You also need to check and clean the lint from the exhaust vent system, and housing of the lint filter, then you'll be OK for quite a while.

LOL. I will have a new dryer by the time I'm done. I learned a lot. I cleaned out the lint and made sure that the duct work was clean all the way to where it vents outside. Most of it was in the tube from the dryer to the wall. I did learn a lot about the dryer and now know I can fix just about anything that goes wrong with it. Thanks for the help. I have this site bookmarked and will return the next time I need help.
