Hi,

Just a question on the hole you have to clear on the transmission case when you replace it.
What does that do?
What would happen if you didn't open it?

Its just a vent hole to equalize the pressure between the inside and outside of the gearcase.

Its sealed for shipping. Just in case it gets tipped over or transported not in the upright position.
