I've been trying to understand why my refrigerator/freezer is sometimes warm and sometimes not. Recently, the ice started melting in the ice-makers, so I know something is wrong. I have searched for and read the service manual, Samsung Technician refrigerator training, and Fast Track for this model. It could be that there are multiple things wrong, which is why I am confused as to which order I should replace parts.

I started by performing a self-diagnosis. The self-diagnostics pass. I get a steady 88 88 as a result every time they are run. The only time I have seen an error is when I disconnected the sensor and refrigerator compartment fan. I got the correct R-1-b and R-1-d.
