I put a few wet clothes directly out of the washer in the dryer. set dryer on 30 minutes. timer ran fine, clothes dried well, dryer shut off. so I would say everything fine with times dry. but not auto. thanks

If not, may just need to clean the moisture sensor rods. If timer does advance but won't shut dryer off, then timer is the likely suspect. Eric
