The lights burned out on the microwave. When I replaced them with new ones the lights they don't light and now the turntable isnt working. Whats wrong?

Check your monitor and primary and secondary switches and your fuse and also your turn table motor may be blown. Make sure to discharge the capacitor before you start any work on that without the casing on. You can use 2 screw drivers with plastic handles. Touch each terminal and cross them over each other touching metal on metal and you should hear a pop sound this is normal. Than repeat this process. The capacitor holds between 2000-4000 volts so dont risk your life. anytime you do work and plug it back in you have to unplug it and do this method. Your switches control your lights, the monitor has to be open and the other 2 are closed when the door is closed its possible that if the door was closed to fast that the fuse may have been popped.http://www.gallawa.com/microtech/switch.html
