I have a whirlpool duet electric dryer that I am working on. Initially the dryer would not come on, the control board works fine and even is counting down as normal. Hoever, no fault codes. I ohmed and changed out the thermister as it was bad, still wont run. Now however, I am receiving a e2 code which indicates a bad thermister but the thermister is good. Any advise?

Sounds like the control board is toast.

I am assuming you have the tech sheet/wiring diagram.
Before trying a new board I would check the thermistor resistance at the control board connector just to be sure that it is not just a bad wire.
