While doing a load of laundry I noticed water leaking from the bottom of my Kenmore 80 Series Washer. I immediately stopped the cycle and I could see no evidence of water behind or around the washer. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this problem, and what parts / tools I will need?

Tilt the washer back and inspect the water pump, the hoses and the outer tub. Post the results.

The hoses looked fine, and everything was still connected. The motor also looked like it was working (plus the washer itself works, it was still spinning when the leak started). It appears that the leak might be coming from between the motor and the pump. Although it is a little difficult to identify all the parts. I don't have an owner's manual because the washer came with my house, and I haven't found one online. I just want to be sure I'm looking at the correct thing! Thank you for your help.

In order to provide most accurate advice we need you to figure out exactly where it's leaking from. The following are the two diagrams which can help you to identify the parts. Use the references numbers. Drive parts and Tub and basket parts. Gene.
