Dryer runs but no heat. How can you just tell if the element is bad or could something else cause the element to not be coming on.

Heater checking:
Measure it with a meter of ten you can see the break in the element

Other causes:
No 240 volts
Thermal fuse blown
One of the thermostat,s blown
Timer contact blown
Motor's centrifugal switch blown
