My dishwasher started exhibiting some strange behavior yesterday. It starts running by itself and the control panel flashes all the indicators on and off. The items that flash in the indicator window are as follows: Washing, Drying, Er, Clean, S. The indicator lights above the following control buttons also flash at the same time: Ultimate Scrub, Speed Clean and Normal Wash. I can clear all of these by pressing the Start Cancel button several times but after it sits for a short period of time it starts doing the same thing again. I finally just turned the circuit breaker off to make it stop.
We had a quick power drop out today while I was on the computer and I had to restart my computer to bring it back up. I do not know if the power bump had anything to do with the problem but I suspect that it may have since the dishwasher was just fine this morning.
Update - I kept pressing buttons to start the wash cycle but then canceled it several times. All lights went out and so I was hopeful that the problem had been cleared. I left the house for a while and when I got back everything was flashing again. The way it cleared the problem I was thinking that possibly some of the buttons may be sticking or defective. I looked for a part number on this website for the control panel and it shows 154543003 and the overlay is 154590403 but they show as no longer available. I hope this is not the case since the dishwasher is only 1 1/2 years old.
Gene, Thank you for your response about the incorrect model number. I appreciate you taking the time to try to help me in diagnosing this problem.
Thank you!

The membrane switch with the part# 154543003, which later has been changed by the manufacturer to the part# 154590403 and is shown as #2 on the diagram, has been discontinued by Frigidaire. Instead of it you have to order the console assembly with the part# 154639203 which is Appliance Parts Pros Part number: AP4298796
